The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the Bank’s commercial footprint through the acquisition and development of high-value corporate and institutional clients. The role will lead key business development initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure that market opportunities are translated into commercially viable outcomes. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the origination of new business opportunities locally and internationally, aligned with the Bank’s commercial strategy.

  • Strengthen and expand strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the Bank in industry networks, conferences, and commercial events to promote brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Marketing to structure client solutions and drive onboarding processes.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial materials tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM discipline to support decision-making and commercial governance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members as needed, contributing to capability development and departmental success.

Work Flexibility

We believe that strong collaboration and team culture thrive through in-person interaction, and we remain an onsite-first organisation. At the same time, we recognise the importance of flexibility in today’s work environment.

Employees can request to work from home through our HR system , and such requests are generally supported where business needs allow. However, given the nature of our operations, onsite presence is required for key meetings, team activities, and other critical business needs. Flexibility is provided as a benefit, not as a fixed entitlement, and is balanced with the Bank’s commitment to maintaining a collaborative office-based culture.

  • Solid understanding of transaction banking products, including cash management and trade finance.

  • Strong commercial insight with the capability to evaluate revenue opportunities, pricing structures, and product profitability.

  • Expertise in client onboarding, KYC/KYB requirements, and associated risk considerations within regulated environments.

  • Strong organisational discipline with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under time pressure.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, corporate banking, or financial services sales.

  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing high-value B2B relationships.
