We are seeking a dedicated Senior IT Officer to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, assisting end-users with technical issues, and implementing cloud-based solutions to enhance overall efficiency.

Position: Senior IT Officer

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues from time to time.
  • Support end-users in onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and access management.
  • Provide second-level technical support for cloud-based applications and services used across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to monitor and manage cloud infrastructure performance, security, and availability.
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud environments for various projects.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, data protection, and disaster recovery.
  • Administer and manage Atlassian Jira and Confluence products, ensuring they are optimized to meet the needs of project management, team collaboration, and documentation processes.
  • Administer and manage Microsoft products such as Purview, Intune, and Exchange, ensuring proper configuration, compliance, and integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies to recommend improvements and optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation.

Requirements
  • Possess a High-Level work ethics, professional integrity,

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and protocols.

  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.

  • Experience in scripting languages for automation and cloud resource management

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization.

Education and Experience
  • The ideal candidate would possess at least 4-5 years of IT support experience with a strong focus on cloud computing (AWS, Azure and/or Oracle Cloud).

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g.,AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator) area plus.

  • Experience within a Credit Institution or within the broader Financial Services industry would be an asset‍
