The Senior Corporate Onboarding Officer is mainly responsible for managing and overseeing the corporate onboarding process, ensuring that all regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements are met prior to client activation. The individual will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant onboarding of corporate entities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Review and assess corporate onboarding files prepared by front-office or client-facing teams for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Conduct detailed due diligence reviews, including corporate documentation, ownership structures, and beneficial ownership information
• Ensure onboarding processes comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and risk frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, CDD/EDD)
• Liaise internally with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to resolve onboarding issues or gaps
• Works closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Sales Support, and Operation teams.
• Escalate high-risk or complex cases with clear recommendations to senior management or relevant committees
• Maintain accurate onboarding records and ensure proper documentation storage and audit readiness
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding procedures
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal quality assurance activities related to onboarding
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior onboarding staff and act as a subject-matter expert
• Assist in developing and updating onboarding policies, procedures, and training materials

Strong risk awareness, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information
Proven experience reviewing complex corporate structures with high attention to detail and analytical rigor
Process-driven, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding cases independently
Strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams
Hands-on, proactive approach with a can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required
Extensive experience in a client-facing role within a Bank, financial institution, or Corporate Service Provider is essential.
Previous experience in a role within onboarding or client relationship management will be considered a strong asset
