The Payments Operations Officer will be part of the Payment Operations team. The role supports the bank in providing payments services, ensuring that the bank is always delivering professionally, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Monitor, process, and execute daily outgoing and incoming payments, including manual payments, single and/or batch transactions, SEPA payments (including SEPA Instant Credit Transfers), TARGET2 payments, FOREX payments and Foreign Currency payments.
• Ensure full compliance with the Bank’s payments related policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory and settlement requirements.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up to date records across all relevant systems, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and audit readiness.
• Prepare, review, and deliver payment related reports, reconciliations, and information as required for internal stakeholders, regulators, or external counterparties.
• Provide support to the Back-Office Operations team through additional ad hoc duties and special assignments as required by the Bank from time to time.

Be a good team player with excellent communication skills
Knowledge of SWIFT, SEPA Credit Transfers, SEPA Instant Credit Transfers, and TARGET2 payment systems.
Has 2 years’ experience working with payments within a Banking environment, Financial Services or relevant environment.
Has experience in processing a high volume of payments on banking systems.
