The Business Development Manager will be responsible for assessing and managing prospective clients applying for Lidion’s innovative invoice financing/factoring solution. From negotiation of the initial commercial agreement through onboarding, implementation and transition into live operations.
Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, Factoring Department and other internal stakeholders, the role is focused on ensuring a seamless client journey, coordinating all commercial, operational and onboarding activities required to successfully launch new factoring relationships. The role will also maintain and develop intermediary, introducer and client relationships, whilst identifying opportunities to support the continued growth of the factoring portfolio.

Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, introducers and internal stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics or a related field.
Ideally would hold 3-5 years' experience in factoring, corporate banking, trade finance, commercial lending or financial services.
Experience managing business onboarding, account implementation or client relationship processes.
Knowledge of factoring products, receivables finance or working capital solutions and/or client-side experience in digital and/or advertising industry would be considered a strong asset but adequate industry training will be provided for candidates with strong business acumen.
Familiarity with the European and/or Maltese financial services markets and relevant compliance frameworks would be an asset.
Familiarity with KYC, KYB, AML and onboarding requirements within a regulated environment would be an asset.
